The Oregon Public Library is part of the South Central Library System. That means you can use an account with the library system to order books that may not be found on site in town. Those books are then delivered to our library for you to pick up and enjoy.
Our library has a very nice website and you'll find many resources there. Check out the links for Adults, Teens, Children, the Calendar and more. You can visit the library's website by clicking on the button below.
Our library offers much more than books. There are magazines, music CD/DVDs, movies, and more. There are events at the library all the time and they are offered to different age groups. There's a story time for kids, classes for adults on a variety of topics, and the Oregon Public Library has been very gracious in allowing our photography group to hold our monthly general meetings with them. Those meetings, by the way, are at 6:00pm on the first Tuesday of the month. THANK YOU to the Oregon Public Library.
If you want to keep up with the many things happening at the library, you should consider signing up for their bi-monthly newsletter by clicking here. Or just stop on in and pick up a hard copy of that newsletter.
Please consider supporting the Oregon Public Library. You can do so by donating money, books and time (volunteer). More information on that can be seen by clicking here.
